Spring 2011
Bakers' Fair Spring took place on Sunday 10th April and was a great success, with a huge numbers of visitors travelling from across the country to make the trip to Newbury Racecourse.The event attracted hundreds of bakers from all over the UK - eager to pick up information on the latest products, trends and innovations.
Visitors also enjoyed live activity, including competitions, seminars and a masterclass in celebration cake decorating from the Baking Industry Award winner Amelia Nutting of Shugabudz who demonstrated some of the techniques she employed in the design and creation of her cake that secured her the title of Celebration Cake Maker of the Year 2010.
Linda Lusardi received a warm welcome from both visitors and exhibitors, before she took to the stage to announce the winners of the National Association of Master Bakers' Bakery Competitions, and the bakers versus butchers classes.
